This is a project that has been expanding over time, and is now also used for QoE monitoring, commercial auditing, Transport Stream recording, and SCTE 35/104 monitoring to be able to monitor the signals of when commercials should be broadcast.
Two recording servers and a central server with local storage and a JBOD bring audio, video and metadata together in one interface. Initially used for broadcast and commercial auditing, the project has expanded to QoE monitoring, Transport Stream recording and SCTE-35/104 monitoring of commercial insertion events.
This solution grew over time. It began as a recording system for 8 SDI signals, and today the system has the possibility of recording up to 32 signals from different streams, whether SDI, Transport Stream, NDI, SRT, etc. Storage has also increased, currently having more than 100TB online.
3Way Logging stores audiovisual content and offers standard and optional search tools, including face recognition, on-screen text recognition, speech-to-text and keyword searches, named entity recognition, and commercial identification through Fingerprint.
