THE NEED

The starting point.

Extract complete programs without commercial breaks and deliver them in Transport Stream format to the video-on-demand system.

IMPLEMENTATION

How the solution was integrated.

The deployment started with 10 channels and expanded to 50 HD channels, with main and backup systems. ReporTV integration imports the program schedule from XML files received via FTP and marks in and out points for automatic clipping.

A connected workflow.

Programs are exported to the MAM with XML metadata, a JPG cover image and subtitle files when available in the source signal. The publishing workflow then continues to the OTT platform.
