Gol TV, a Uruguayan channel dedicated to sporting events, recently acquired the ViDeus Small Auditor system for 4 signals from 3Way, a successful Argentine development of video signal monitoring solutions, both for the analog and digital world, through Onalur S.A., 3Way representative for all 3Way product lines in Uruguay. Marcelo Craviotto, Technical Manager of the channel, tells us about the experience of said acquisition and start-up in the neighboring country: “The challenge for Tenfield was to be able to record 100% of our broadcast in an auditable manner, in order to be able to meet the needs of commercial and programming management.” When asked about how the system solved that need, he explained: "The equipment has worked perfectly since its installation. It records 24 hours of programming on both signals, with very correct quality. It superimposes on the video the date and time of the recording, and allows users to select the needed fragment, searching both by signal and by day and time." According to Craviotto, “the ViDeus Small Auditor system improved robustness since although we had similar solutions, they did not provide us with the security we needed.” This system is specifically used by the commercial manager, the programming assistant and the news manager. “So far, it has perfectly met our expectations,” he said.
